ENERGY ABSORPTION SYSTEM

The Electra Motorsports Energy Absorption System is sold on a “per piece” basis, not typically as a kit. If you would like an estimate on how many of each piece will be needed for your track layout, we will of course be happy to provide that and pricing for the components. Recommended floor mount post spacing is 30″ on centers. We recommend you adjust this as needed based on your track layout.
Floor mount posts MUST be anchored to concrete only. Asphalt is not strong enough to hold the anchors, and it will fail. There are many different options for floor anchors, which are NOT included in pricing estimates. The most cost effective option is for 1/2″-13 x 6″ threaded rods, drilled at least 4″ deep and held with a chemical adhesive to bond them. Hilti also makes extremely effective concrete anchors, but they are more expensive.

If you need a quote for your track layout, simply email us with how many feet of barrier you need and we can quote based on that. If you are unsure of where you would like to utilize the different options of high/low/ultra high impact zones, you can email a scale drawing of your layout and we can offer our advice. Many tracks simply go with ALL high impact to start, and as time progresses you can make adjustments as needed.
